FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

  Description: The primary goal of this fellowship is to offer wide experience in spine surgery. Cervical, thoracic and lumbar aspects of the spine will be covered, as well as anterior and posterior approaches involving all diagnoses in patients of all ages. Training will include orthopedic and neurosurgical perspectives. The Fellow will participate in the management of the patients on a day-to-day basis both in the hospital and in the office. An estimated 2000 procedures are performed a year. He/she will assist and perform surgery as his/her talents and training progress. Emphasis will be placed on preparation of conferences and presentations at spine meetings both nationally and internationally, as well as publications.
  Requirements: Duration: 1 year (starting date negotiable).. Hospitals: Jewish Hospital, Norton Healthcare Hospital, Kosair Children's Hospital, Clark Memorial Hospital, Veterans Administration Medical Center..
